Using information about you

We use the account information you provide for internal purposes, invoicing and statements, equipment hardware warranties and for confirming and tracking your order, Business Applications Limited membership registration, analysing trends and statistics, informing you of our new products, services and offers, and providing you with information from and about Business Applications Limited.

To serve you better, we may combine the information you give us online or in our store. We use that combined information to enhance and personalise your shopping experience with us, to communicate with you about our products and events that may be of interest to you, and for other promotional purposes. You will always be able to unsubscribe from receiving such communications at any time. You cannot unsubscribe from receiving invoices and statements.

There may be times (such as when you purchase or order a product, participate in contests or promotions, join and participate in our Business Applications Limited membership when we will ask you to provide personal information such as your name, shipping/billing address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information. We may also maintain a record of your product purchases.

Whether or not to provide such information is completely your own choice, but if you choose not to provide the information we request, we may be unable to sell products to you and you may be unable to access certain services, offers and content on our website. We may contact you via phone, email or postal address to ask questions or address issues specific to your order, even if you have opted to not receive communications from us.

We retain this information for as long as you have an account with us as we need it to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected (or for directly related purposes) or as otherwise required by law.

We may contract with companies or persons to provide certain services including credit card processing, shipping, data management, promotional services, etc. We call them service providers. We supply our service providers with the information needed for them to perform these services. We also ask our service providers to confirm that their privacy practices are consistent with ours.

Although unlikely, in certain instances we may disclose your personal information when we have reason to believe that it is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against persons or entities who may be causing injury to you, to Business Applications Limited or to others. We may also disclose your personal information when we believe the law requires it.

The information we collect and share with third parties through cookies are grouped together as a whole and therefore anonymous (we do not use cookies to identify, monitor or track any personally identifiable information such as your name, age, phone number, e-mail address or mailing address).

Editing, updating, correcting and deleting information about you

You can request access to and correction of personal information. You may also ask us to remove your personal information from our systems. Please note it may take up to 5 business days to process your request.
